Projects
Here are our current projects:
Restroom Facilites
Restroom Facilities at the Ranges
This new restroom facility will serve the ranges, the Dragonfly Skypark, and our fishing pond. By adding this facility, we’ll be able to increase activity time, as we currently have to walk campers back and forth to the main campus for restroom use. It will also include storage closets to keep our range and pond equipment protected from the weather in a controlled environment. This project is estimated to cost $85,000.00.
Dragonfly Skypark
Our First Project: Odyssey III Challenge Course
We kicked off our Dragonfly Skypark with the Odyssey III Challenge Course — a high ropes course made up of a series of exciting obstacles! This impressive structure is designed to encourage teamwork and personal growth, making it perfect for both our campers and rental groups. From corporate retreats to youth and college groups, the Odyssey III offers a dynamic team-building experience for all.
(Check out the completed projects section below for more details and a video showcasing our first few months of action!)
Our Second Project: Low Ropes Course Expansion
The next phase in the Dragonfly Skypark is underway — we're adding a brand-new low ropes course! This addition will introduce a whole new layer of teamwork challenges, offering opportunities for collaboration and problem-solving closer to the ground. With plans to install five unique low ropes elements, groups will now have the chance to develop trust, communication, and leadership skills in both low and high ropes environments.
Dining Hall
“A Place at the Table”
Camp Cale’s Dining Hall is a major undertaking, estimated at $3.2–$4 million. Help us raise the funds to set “A Place at the Table” for every camper and guest!
Camp Cale Master Plan
We are striving to bring the vision of Camp Cale to life in order to provide greater outreach opportunities for the children and youth of this area and beyond.
Completed Projects
Dragonfly Skypark High Ropes
Our first project in the Dragonfly Skypark was the Odyssey III Challenge Course — a high ropes course featuring a series of obstacles to complete! This dynamic structure is designed for team building and is available to both our campers and rental groups. It's an excellent option for corporate retreats, youth groups, college groups, and more looking to strengthen team bonds.

Park Project
We’ve developed the James H. Cale Community Park on 10 acres of land just outside the Camp Cale gate for public use. The park currently features a walking trail, 9 disc golf holes as well as a soccer field and a sand soccer field. Future plans include the possible addition of a playground, and a fitness trail.
Pond/Bulkhead Project
In partnership with Camp Cale, we assisted with the Pond/Bulkhead Project. We also contributed to the installation of a well to fully fill the pond! Pictured above is the 1-acre pond shortly after it was dug. Camp Cale used the sand from the pond to backfill the new bulkhead.
Maintenance Building
The completed maintenance building marks one of the first steps in preparing for our new dining hall and the continued growth of Camp Cale!
